Hello, I’m Ihsan Yilmaz
My Story
As the founder of Yilmaz Academy, I’ve dedicated my journey to empowering young athletes through football. Born in Turkey and raised across five U.S. states, I grew up deeply connected to the game.
After training in top U.S. academies, I signed my first pro contract at 18 and later played in Portugal. Over time, I discovered my passion for coaching and started Yılmaz Academy—now helping over 400 players build skills and confidence.
What began as a personal mission soon evolved into a structured program focused on discipline, development, and leadership—on and off the field. I believe football is more than just a sport; it’s a tool to teach life values, build resilience, and create opportunities.
I also work as an official scout in the international transfer market, including with Christian Benteke’s team, and continue to develop online coaching programs to support players worldwide. My goal is to inspire the next generation to dream big and pursue excellence wherever they are.
